Application
The digital color control bar consists of CControl software and one or several color control bar patterns (*.fks files). Once the installation is done and CControl has been started, CControl helps the user to analyze the data records of a print job (source files.eps) as regards nature and number of colors used. After the color control bar pattern has been selected, the appropriate color control bar can be generated as an eps file. The layout or imposition program is used to position the color control bar according to CCI requirements. Once separation is completed, the color control bar separations are exposed together with the subject separations on full-page film or directly to plate.
The different color control bar patterns bring a high degree of flexibility to the CCI measuring and regulating system. All patterns are available in heights of 4 mm or 7 mm.
- D6V : suitable for measuring and regulating from 1 - 6 colors. Regulation is done according to solid densities. This strip also contains 80% and 40% fields for establishing dot gain as well as grey balance fields for visual checks.
D6R : suitable for measuring and regulating from 1 - 6 colors. Regulation is done according to 80% screen densities. This strip also contains solid and 40% fields for establishing dot gain as well as grey balance fields for visual checks.
D8V : suitable for measuring and regulating from 1 - 8 colors. Regulation is done according to solid densities. This strip also contains 70% fields for establishing dot gain.
D8R : suitable for measuring and regulating from 1 - 8 colors. Regulation is done according to 70% screen densities. This strip also contains solid fields for establishing dot gain.
